Bruce's 7th Birthday!

Bruce at seven is in the first grade. He loves Legos and can spend all day building with them. He can make friends in an instant. He has a huge heart. He has started taking Karate and seems to enjoy it. He has gotten so big! I really wish he would stop growing so fast!

Still Alive!

I have done a terrible job over the last few months with the blog....but I know a few family members really enjoy seeing the kiddos so I am going to try to do better!

Thanksgiving 2012

We loved being able to spend time with my sister and her kids for Thanksgiving.  They stayed for the week and we had a blast enjoying the time together. 

Pumpkin Patch

A few weeks ago we went to the Pumpkin Patch with some family.  The kids all had a blast.  It ended up being a cool, cloudy day...so it was perfect weather for the Pumpkin Patch.  We were crazy busy with the kids running everywhere but here are a few pictures I snapped while we were there. 

18 months

My sweet little boy is not so little anymore!  He is now 18 months going on about 5 years.

Here is what he is doing now:

• anything his brother and sister does he thinks he can also do. 
• he is very opinionated about everything.
• LOVES to be outside...he could stay outside all day and would still cry when he had to come in. 
• he has the same stats at 18 months that Bruce did...except for a smaller head...yet he is wearing the clothes that Bruce was wearing on his first birthday...and many of them are still big on him...go figure!
• still naps if we are at home...but if we are out and about he is not going to give it up....thankfully he does not usually get cranky.
• he gets very high fevers with teething and colds at the drop of a hat...so I have missed a ton of church...think we may have a LONG winter.
• he has no fear!  he has already conquered many slides and playgrounds that Addie and Bruce wouldn't go on until they were 3 or 4... I for see many trips to the ER in our future!

He is such a blessing in our lives!  We are so thankful for our littlest monkey!

Science

Bruce had a blast the other day when we made Lava out of butter.  We had been studying Venus and talked about the Lava.  He just loves when we pull out the science books. 

Museum Part 2
