16 months

OK I am sure you are wondering why I picked this picture. It is because this is her favorite postition. She reminds me so much of the people in Thailand. She does not sit down on the floor when she plays she squats. I kept thinking she would outgrow this but she still does it. I think it is because she is always on the go and getting up from the floor would be more time away from being on the go. Here are is what she is doing this month:

• She had her 15 month checkup. She was 32 1/2 inches and 22lbs 11oz. She is the same length Bruce was at his 15 month checkup.
• She has learned how to climb on the dining room table and does it several times a day.
• She is starting to master climbing up the slides at places like the mall and Chick Fil A. This is something that terrified Bruce. He just recently started going down some of the slides.
• Raw Broccoli has been one of her favorite foods this month.
• She has started repeating some of what we say. A few times she even repeated sentences. Bruce was about two and a half when he really started talking like she is.
• She LOVES her daddy. She really missed him while he was gone to PA.
• She can not sit still. She will climb in my lap then get down the up then down over and over again.

It is amazing to me to see how different Bruce and Addie are. Bruce is so slow to do things. He thinks things and makes sure he can do it perfectly before he even tries things. Addie just leaps without thinking about what will happen.
